By looking through the retinoscope, the doctor can study the light reflex of the pupil. 6. The pupil's light reflex is maintained as this is controlled via the parasympathetic nervous system. 7. This is a characteristic feature of LEMS . The pupillary light reflex may be sluggish. 8. For normal pupillary light reflex , both pupils constrict simultaneously when light is shone into either eye. 9. Placed at the bottom right of the picture is a foliage dissolving in shimmering light reflexes . 10. There has been recent research on the role of melanopsin in pupillary light reflex ( PLR ).
